There are many ways that people are called to servethe Liturgical Worship.

 
 

Altar Flowers

Some people provide flowers, take care of them and rearrange them.

Altar Servers

Altar Servers are boys and girls (who have made their first Communion) from fourth grade through high school, as well as adults, who assist the priest and deacon at Mass.  The servers help the liturgical actions run smoothly.  It is a great honor and privilege to serve the parish in this ministry.

Extraordinary Ministers

If sufficient ordinary ministers of priests, deacons or bishops are not present for a Eucharistic Celebration,  other lay persons are often needed to be extraordinary ministers of distributing communion.  Lay ministers also are needed to go to the homes and hospitals.


Lector/Lectures

Some people are needed to read the Scripture readings during liturgical worship.

Ushers/Ujieres

Ushers/Greeters are individuals that aide in just about every situation at Mass. They provide welcoming and gracious hospitality, help direct you to a seat in the Church, collect our contributions, guide you to Communion and distribute the weekly bulletins.
